I think that Alice and Pocahontas are coming in January

Post by Wonderlicious »

In England, the magazine DVD review (who's issue has a picture of Shrek on the front cover at the moment) listed that Pocahontas and Alice in Wonderland are coming in January. Hopefully this means we won't have to wait too long, although I have this gut feeling that Alice is gonna get a 1 disc release. Hopefully the 2 disc version will surface, even as a seperate release like what they did for Monsters Inc and Sleeping Beauty.

I can't see them releasing a 1 disc, the one disc has just gone out of print, and i can't see them releasing strtaight away identical to the previous edition, what would be the point of that!

Also if it is a one disc, i don't think they would be advertising it as 'special' edition'!

Yes but I think that's beacuse there weren't any more bonus features availble, after all it hasn't been released in the US. All of the stuff on the Pinocchio disc with the exception of the game were just added to fluff the release out!

With Alice they have the BF to use!

Alice in Wonderland is being released this late everywhere outside the US and the countries that get it now will all get a 1-disc release (except France - grrr).

The 1-disc edition in Holland is being advertised as "Special edition"... really stupid, glad I got the 2-disc masterpiece edition.

I think I may hit someone!

What the hell is the point in that, why the hell didn't they just keep the current 1 disc in production! What a complete set of !"$%*&^

If that's the case, I'm going to order the R1 DVD, which i might add, I could've done a year ago!

According to the Disney.co.uk site, Alice and Pocahontas are both due April 2005.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

It also says Mary Poppins for April, but that is at other sites for March 21st.

I've just seen the advert for the Alice DVD in and it says all new "Cheshire Cat song", is this cut into the film like the new song for Pocahontas?
