Luke, I read your Last Night in Soho, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and West Side Story reviews! They were good! You're a good reviewer!

I finally blind bought Bros and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Aside from being so funny, it made me feel the love between the leads was real and I wanted a relationship like theirs. So I finally read Luke's review, and I'd say it's a pretty good one. Thank you for reviewing this film, and so well and knowledgabley, Luke. I didn't understand what you meant by the film not living up to its title or marketed premise, though. Care to explain here, Luke?

Hey, Luke, I don't know if there's a way for us to know if you keep reading this thread, but because you gave I Saw the TV Glow a near 5 star rating, I decided to watch the film, and then read your review. The film was very weird, but it resonated with me, and by the end, I had decided I liked it. I felt for Owen, who I thought was gonna be gay, with a dad who disapproved of him liking something "for girls". And that ending you thought was fudged, I don't know, I think it may have been perfect. I identified with this guy who had been suppressing dread over something in his life finally freaking out about it in front of people he shouldn't. That never happened to me, but I sometimes feel on the verge of screaming about how unhappy I am with my life in the midst of all the people around me on this journey through life in the universe. Maybe that's the case for all of us at some point? And I think the conclusion in the film is, sadly, Owen will never fix his problem. Well, anyway, you wrote a really great review, with lots of apt stuff I didn't think of that you can find in the film.

Good review of Wicked, Luke, though I think it is a towering and artistic achievement myself. Still, yeah, it wasn't a complete masterpiece. Maybe a flawed masterpiece.
