I bought the UK Deluxe Edition today to find that it is 88 Mins, I thought it was 101 Mins, has it been cut or is my mind going?
Anybody else like this film?

As I understand it, the original 101 minute cut was only used upon original release. All prints since have been cut by about 10 minutes. I think this was to remove some of the more gruesome scenes to make it more acceptable for viewing by children.
The same situation exists for Nepenthe's follow up animated film 'The Plague Dogs' which similarly was edited to remove scenes of a more horrific nature.

Cool beans. The article says that featurettes and storyboard-to-film comparisons will be part of the bonuses. Perhaps they're the same ones that are on the R2 Deluxe Edition:
-Watership Down: A Conversation with the Filmmakers (17:10)
-Defining a Style (12:03)
-Multi-Angle Storyboard Comparisons:
-- Opening Sequence (3:41)
-- Hazel and Fiver Sneak into Nuthanger Farm (4:25)
-- Bigwig Leads Escape from Efrafa (2:57)
-- Hazel Is Injured (2:36)
Also, the R4 version has a commentary with the director.

The old R1 has been out of print forever and very expensive on Ebay. I had kind of given up. I am stoked.
