My husband compared the animation style to Into the Spiderverse...is it the same? It looked different to me...?

It is different. Spider-Verse was key-framed whereas this was mo-capped which explains the stiffness. Both use non-photorealistic rendering though which is probably why your husband thought they looked similar.

So, would you say the difference in animation techniques between key-framing and motion-capture affects how the characters move and appear on screen? How do you think these techniques contribute to the overall visual style and storytelling of animated films?

Bruh...why call it "What If...?" if it'll only end with three seasons. It's an anthology series that has so much "endless possibilities", I felt like they've barely scratched the surface with their episodes. The show should've been called "The Watcher" if that were the case given how he's the main focus of the show, aside from Captain Carter.
