RIP Kevin Conroy

As a child of the 90s, I became a superhero fanatic because of the quality and care invested in Kevin's projects. They always say "don't meet your heroes", but Kevin was the exception. Always humble, and open spirited, whenever I met him at cons. His engagement with every person was infectiously positive, even when he subtly brought up personal grievances, he had composure unlike any other man. I felt his warmth, sincerity, and kindness even before it was made public earlier this year that he was gay, and that made me proud as a blossoming queer. He was a one of a kind beautiful soul, and is forever my Batman. Rest In Peace to the Dark Knight. :(
