Robin Hood (Gold Collection)
The Rescuers
Schoolhouse Rock
Mickey's House of Villains
The Tigger Movie
The Fox & The Hound
Snow Dogs
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Cool Runnings
The Rookie (Widescreen or Fullscreen)
The Lizzie McGuire Movie

From these 11, I have Robin Hood, The Rescuers, Schoolhouse Rock, Cool Runnings, Snow Dogs (didn't buy it!), The Tigger Movie, and The Rookie. That leaves Honey (which I like, but the fullscreen barebones DVD isn't exactly shouting to be owned), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (which I've never seen), and Mickey's House of Villains (also never seen). I have seen and enjoyed The Fox and the Hound, so that'd be the title that interests me most and if I were to do this, that's what I would get.

Not that anyone asked of course.

I know I have asked a question similar to this in the past but when they say purchase any Disney movie say I bought something that was relase in 2003 or older than that does that count toward the buy 3 get 1 free? If anyone could answer that would be great. :) THANKS!

Anything that says "Disney DVD" on it should be good. All you need is the proof of purchase and receipt. It doesn't matter how long the DVD has been out. I used several purchases of older DVDs last year.

I'm assuming Disney Movie Club purchases count for this as well, right? Seems like we'd just be able to either include the statement that comes with the shipment or print off the instant online receipt.

Also, the Lizzie McGuire set is going to count, right? I don't see why it wouldn't, as it's straight-up Disney. Boy Meets World is a little murkier, and I wouldn't have thought it counted before, but it (unlike Golden Girls & HI) is on Disney's upcoming releases page, so I'm now suspecting it may. Anyone tried this yet or know for sure?

Does anyone know if there is somewhere I can request one of these certificates. Every DVD I have purchased has not included one and I have seen no displays with one on.

You can print out a certificate here:

I've seen some displays at supermarkets with them, but I also haven't gotten them in recent DVD purchases (Mulan and MTUaC). That brings up another question...how come if you buy a DVD at certain stores, they do not come with the Savings booklet? (e.g. All the Disney DVDs I've gotten at Wal-Mart did not come with Savings Booklets. Is this why they are so much cheaper there?)

I wanted to know if anyone had tried this or not. I sent in for my free dvd, however, I could not bring myself to cut the proof of purchases off of my dvd covers. I sent copies of the backs of my dvds, the original receipt, a check and a note explaining why I didn't want to cut my proof of purchases off.
Has anyone tried this and, if so, did you receive your free dvd?

That's a good question. I've often wondered if somebody could photocopy it onto nice cardstock and cut it out if it would look identical to the original. Maybe you could try that.

Tell me if this works, please. ^-^

Because I refuse to cut out the proof of purchases from the back covers of my DVDs. ~.~ Adamantly refuse.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Not sure if that will work, but anyone who'd like to check on the status of their submission for this or any other Buena Vista Home Video mail-in offer, this site is what you're looking for: http://video.movies.go.com/tracking_mailoffer.html

Records go as far back as 2002! :o

I will let everyone know whether or not it works for me. I mailed in my stuff last Monday and it said on the form that it takes 6 to 8 weeks.
I am keeping my fingers crossed.
