Hi, and welcome back to the 2011 DVDizzy.com Movie & Media Awards! Many of you submitted nominations in the MOVIES categories via the message board and email, which were tabulated and resulted in the MOVIES finalists below. Of the nominees that follow, one in each category will be elected by you, the DVDizzy community, as a winner.
This year, for the first time ever, we will conduct voting via electronic ballot! This should make voting much more fun and easier for you, and will also speed up the vote counting process considerably. No more copying & pasting! The only requirement is that you be a registered forum member here at DVDizzy.com.

Just click here to access the online ballot and vote!

Instructions for Voting: You don't have to vote in every category, though you're certainly encouraged to! When you finish the survey, click "Next," enter the provided security code, and then click "Save Responses".
Do not attempt to vote more than once. Multiple ballots from the same IP address will be voidable. (If multiple members will be voting from a shared IP address, please just send an email to udforumawards@aaronwallaceonline.com to let me know).
Note: This ballot is separate from the 2011 Media Awards ballot, which was posted in a previous thread (voting in that ballot has since closed).
Voting will remain open until 11:59pm (Eastern Time) on Thursday, March 10. Any attempts to submit a ballot after that time will be void, and may result in all of your previous votes being disqualified.
Please don't reveal any of your votes in this thread or elsewhere on the message board!
A thread for assigning presenters in the awards ceremony will be started soon. Once both the Media and Movie voting rounds have ended, both will be presented together in one epic ceremony here on the forum!

The number of nominees in a given category was determined by the number of nominations submitted for that category, so that each category came as close to the preferred number of five nominees per category as possible. Results of zero to two nominees were avoided wherever possible. In the event that a single category produced more than eight qualifying finalists, the finalists with the least support among nominees other categories were eliminated until there were eight or less finalists remaining in that category. When the final tallies necessitated a set of either two-to-three or seven nominees, seven were chosen in major categories while two-to-three were chosen in minor categories. Ineligible nominations were disqualified in accordance with the nomination rules.
