Let's discuss one of my favorite shows currently on Cartoon Network.
My favorite episode is Ello Gov'nor.

You know who else likes this show?
MY MOM!!
OOOOHHHH!!
I really didn't care for it when I watched the pilot online (when CN put it up with a bunch of other pilots and had people vote which one they wanted made into a show) but the show is starting to grow on me. The premise is relatable, two lazy buds who just want to chill and have a good time. I love the formula the show follows, of taking something too far and having it result in some crazy ridiculous supernatural occurrence that they have to fix (usually set to 80s music). I also love that this show is obsessed with the 80s. One thing that surprises me is just how much this show gets away with, such as sexual references, drugs, alcohol, and using words like pissed and hell (this kind of content is usually not seen outside AS).
BTW, Ello Gov'nor was actually one of my least favorite episodes so far.
With that said...
Whoot! Won't Skips be surprised when he finds us totally naked?
Muscleman, it's not that kind of party.

Yeah, Cartoon Network cheated everyone out of seeing the other cartoons completed for their Cartoonstitute program, especially in terms of which pilot would become a series. There were two others that I thought were much better, particularly Paul Rudish's "3 Dog Band".
Regardless, Regular Show has proven itself to be a very good one. The 80's references gives this show a relaxing Saturday afternoon feel.
My favorite episode so far is "Prank Callers". It's so funny how random, bizarre shit keeps happening over everyday matters.

Oh, and I heard according to CN's website that the second of the only two shows from the canceled series, Cartoonstitute, called Uncle Grandpa is picked up for a series and is coming sometime this year.
