New single is streaming in high quality here: http://www.popeater.com/2010/04/05/hans ... -somethin/

I like it a lot! 50s/60s throwback.

Lots of big Hanson news today:

• New acoustic performance of a new song, "Kiss Me When You Come Home" (recorded on the set of the "Thinking 'Bout Somethin'" video): http://www.usatoday.com/video/index.htm ... 9642040001

• Hanson's performing each of their studio albums live, in their entirety, over the next five nights. Starting tonight with Middle of Nowhere, it's one full album each night... and the full concerts are streaming live (for free) online right here: http://www.livestream.com/hansonmusic?u ... ooterlinks (the stream is pretty choppy for me)

• The aforementioned live shows are also being recorded for a DVD release

• Hanson announced the first two legs of their North American Shout It Out tour today. Dates & Cities: http://www.hanson.net/site/sections/22

• Entertainment Weekly named Shout It Out one of the 16 albums they're most looking forward to this summer: http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20360731,00.html

• Hanson performed on The Today Show today (and Letterman this past Friday)

<hr>
Also, a question: Does anyone know what the Bamboozle Road Show tours are going to consist of? It's something different from the Five for Five shows and the Shout It Out Tour, but I haven't seen any info/details.

Thanks for the link to the streaming! As far as Bamboozle, what do you mean- what songs/albums Hanson will be playing? My friend got us tickets, but I don't even know much about it- I know that there will be a lot of bands playing...I don't know how long it will be or anything. I'm hoping that Hanson will have a decent-length set...

Also, I just found that if you go to the Hanson home page and let it cycle through, you'll see a clip of the band giving an acoustic performance of "Thinking 'Bout Somethin'" on the music video set: http://www.hanson.net/site/sections/1

Apparently, these acoustic performances are part of the Tay's Music Exchange DVD that is available with any of the $25-and-up preorder packages for the new CD at Hanson.net

So who here is getting the new CD? Anyone getting one of the special packages at hanson.net? I think I'll get the $25 one so that I can get the DVD... but as cool as the $250 and $800 packages sound, there is NO way. I didn't even pay $250 for the most recent Amy Grant deluxe package, nor have I bought any of the super expensive Aerosmith packages. Just can't justify that.

Go look at their Tour page. There's one section for the Bamboozle show in NJ, and then there's a whole separate section for the Bamboozle Roadshow. Will those Roadshow concerts be the same as the one at in NJ?

I'll just be getting the regular cheap version from Best Buy or Target. I love them, but I don't have that much spending money!

And I have no idea about the different Bamboozles- I don't even know enough about the Roadshow, and I'm going! I have no idea how long the sets will be. I'm glad that Good Charlotte will be there, otherwise I'd only be there for Hanson and I would have nothing else to look forward to.

My friend wrote on my Facebook wall about how she's not happy with the tour dates; they always come to the House of Blues at Downtown Disney on their tours, and they're not this year, but as I told her, they are coming to Bamboozle, and the Food and Wine Festival for 2 days (x 3 performances each day!) in the fall!

So, what're your favorite songs on the album, Aaron? I love the whole thing, but "Carry You There" and "Give a Little" are my two favorites. "Me, Myself, and I" is amazing, too- any song of there's that sounds like "A Song to Sing" is great... I've heard that some people like the EP versions better, but I'm really liking the studio versions.

Billboard:
30. Hanson – Shout It Out
Even though MMMBop is over 13 years old, never underestimate the passionate fan base of Hanson fans. The trio have to be thrilled with Shout It Out debuting at 30. Between their talent and fans, you can bet these guys are easily good for another 10 years.
I'm THRILLED!!! It seems, to me, that there's more promotion going on this time around (no pun intended :p) for this album than for The Walk...?
