I think we can all agree that as long as Venus De Milo returns in some form, this will be a rousing success.

Also, this...

I'm finding it hard to get really excited about the Ninja Turtles crossover because they really dropped a ball and didn't get the original voices from the 80s/90s show to do their characters =/

As for Nickelodeon buying the franchise? Meh. We'll see what happens, we don't know if it's gonna be a good thing or a bad thing, so let's just wait and see.

I love the original show and the movies ('cause obviously that's what was on when I was growing up) but I also enjoyed the 2003 cartoon and the TMNT CGI movie (even though I kind of lost interest in the 2003 cartoon and haven't seen an episode in forever lol).
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Trailer (official for Turtles Forever)

http://4kidstv.com/tmnt/tmnt-25th-montage/0025

Its suppose to air on November 21st on CW4KIDS in the morning...as a one time only airing...although i've heard if you look on your dvrs it shows it as half hour onlly but that could be due to the data on the DVR is not fully up to date....but I would imagine by the week it airs the 17th so DVR this I would recomend doing since we don't know when the DVD is coming out.....

Awesome trailer! Totally awesome seeing Shredder and Krang =D

I definitely wanna see this, I'll have to make sure to record it, although I'm sure it'll be put on YouTube or something.

**BUMP!**

Just learned yesterday that a sneak peak (of at least the the animation and character design) of Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been online since March of this year.
<iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JuhOuANcZlY" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Notice that Donatello and Michelangelo's weapons are not what they seem. Instead of a bo Don has naginata, and Michelangelo is using kusarigama instead of nunchaku. Both 'upgrades' have blades on them. (I guess their old weapons were too tame.)

Slimed version.

Notice that the poster conveniently hides any change to Don and Mike's weapons. There's little adjustments to previous designs as well: they're all wearing tape on their hands and Donatello has a gap in his teeth(?) And they've got eyes.

There also was an "Mutation in Progress" event at Comic-Con advertising the tv show, turtle toys and pizza. Read a great review of the event HERE at www.ninjapizza.net.

For me the most interesting change has to do with April:
...Nickelodeon thought it was "pretty creepy" that a 30-ish woman would hang out with four teenage turtle boys, so she's been aged down to 16. She will eventually be trained by Splinter to become a kunoichi, or female ninja.
I wonder if they also thought it was "pretty creepy" that Donatello had a crush on the same 30-ish woman? :P
--
So some personal thoughts:
I never expected movie-quality graphics, all the same the cgi in the sneak peak looks bad. Despite that they've still got til 2012 to make changes/improvements.
Love them pupils. The white eyeballs worked for the majority of the last series, but I've always preferred iris-ed turtles. I also like that that general color selection on the turtles looks the same.
Waiting to see if this new mutation will blend intense action and comedy as good as something like Avatar: The Last Airbender achieved. I want to laugh with (and at) these guys, but the humor should be balanced with some serious fighting scenes. I'd be in for sure.

Old thread, but did anyone catch last Friday's episode? It was AWESOME...

Watching the Turtles begrudgingly team up with the Foot Clan mutants to defeat Baxter Stockman (my favorite villain of the show) was very amusing, I especially loved Raphael’s interaction with Fishface. April and Splinter’s interaction was also very interesting, I’m liking the direction of April being Splinter’s new student. I loved this episode so much, that it outranks my previous favorite episode, "The Pulverizer" (where the Turtles meet their first fanboy, ).
