I'll check it out. I loved Phil of the Future, That's So Raven was good. I like the Suite Life and it's spin-off, and I love Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place.

So yeah, I'm sure it'll be good.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

It's a superficial issue, but it's one of the things I don't like about her, ha.

I was lucky enough to purchase the pilot episode (free) from Itunes and I was lil sketchy bout the overall plot, the concept of a show within a show plays off nicely, course they had the ususal scenario for the main charater, 1 character with a single parent, having various mishaps happen to her.

The second episode was much more interesting and surpisingly better then the pilot, kinda gave a decent spoof for rivarly between shows *chuckles*.

Demi has a good career going for her and I hope that she keeps in touch with comedy yet graduate to dramatic roles in the future, some of the supporting characters could use some character development and heart, (especialy Tawni) Tawni came off alil too Sharpay like (among other things I could call her) and less her own character, minus the expected jealousy hopefuly the overly jealous personality will be toned down by episode 4/5.

I knew I recognized Nancy McKeon. At least I thought she looked like Nancy McKeon.

I'd rather have a revival of the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB instead. Demi could have been on that instead....
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I don't know, Disney would have to change the way they do kids' TV programming before I'd want to see a new Mickey Mouse Club. Though I liked some things about the last version (well, I liked a few of the girls, ha), even as a kid I thought it was waaay too cheesy. It's not cheesy like the old MMCs either. It almost felt intentionally cheesy (maybe it wasn't intentional, because all kids comedy shows seem to be like that, but it WAS that cheesy). And the way the shows on Disney are now, they all seem to have that kind of cheese times ten. I think it has to do with the sort of kids they use. They're not natural, regular kids like they used to use; now they are kids who are all about being stars and trying too hard!

So far I actauly like this show, could use a few moments of drama (aside from Tawin/Sonny plot) the character of Sonny and Tawin are mediumly strong, hopefuly they're be better developed by S2 along with Chad, Nico and the rest of the supportin characters.

Recently I found a full verison of the theme (So Far So Great) and sounds really catchy in it's full verison.

Tommy2.net:

Yesterday, Disney Channel launched a new series of comedic webisodes, at MacKenzieFalls.com, which explore the fictional tween melodrama and its popular leading man Chad Dylan Cooper. A new webisode will premiere every Monday during the summer and an exclusive expanded MacKenzie Falls will be part of the bonus content on the Disney DVD of Sonny With A Chance: Sonny’s Big Break, available August 25.

The NJ Triliogy were having loads of fun with the "create your own trailer" option. We can't wait for the actual minisodes to start appearing, it's so delightfully mocking and intentionally bad!

so did anyone else LOVE the "Battle of the Network stars" episode? It was so funny I bought it on iTunes.

I loved the inside jokes about Selena's show and the parody at the end.

So, it would appear the compilation's review is up on the site.

Anyone notice how none of the DC reviews mention that many of the shows/movies(like this one)actually aired in Widescreen on Disney Channel HD? I noticed that all that's mentioned is that they were shot in widescreen, and sonny doesn't even get that treatment for DVD. I'm just saying it can't really be a waste of text to mention it.

Maybe the reviewers don't watch Disney Channel in HD, so maybe they just don't know. I didn't know that, since I just watch plain old Disney Channel. Just trying to defend the reviewers!

I actually considered writing about the aspect ratio, but since I don't have Disney Channel in HD, I couldn't really comment on it. I know for a fact that DCOMs are shot in widescreen, but I wasn't so sure about shows, and I couldn't find any info online in regards to Sonny. I figured it was better to just not discuss it than to write a few sentences ping ponging back and forth between whether or not it was shot in widescreen.

I can at least say this: if Sonny does indeed air in widescreen on Disney Channel HD, there must be a lot of unused space. The fullscreen episodes seemed perfectly framed. I think I only noticed one instance of someone's arm being cropped off, but that was it. Widescreen is probably an after thought for the show's creators.

And according to tweets, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will have a duet on an upcoming episode of Sonny With A Chance. It was just taped Thursday night, so it will probably awhile before it airs.
So, we canceled our DirectTV a while ago, and so I haven't been able to watch Disney Channel lately, but from what I've been reading (the episode where Sonny sings, and now this), it almost makes me think that the show is jumping the shark? Y/N?

I think they are going to far...........I do NOT LIKE ANY Jonas brother and this will delay the characters of Sonny and Chad becoming a couple!

Just because they are dating (Demi deserves someone ELSE) does NOT mean that he needs to guest star!

Demi's grandfather just passed away a few days ago, so I wonder if this report about Joe and a duet is even true?

Aww, I didn't know that. :( That's sad.

I saw the public school episode yesterday, and I liked the "High School Miserable" song. Idk even the plot point of the Sonny sings episode, but apparently this wasn't it, even though it involved singing. I love the Jonas Brothers, so I have no problem with Joe being on the show, but I hope his character (or himself, if he plays himself- I have no idea) serves a purpose, and it isn't just, oh, look, Joe Jonas is on the show... *shrug*

Sonny sang in 'Sonny with a Song" on April 11th episode.

I was just hoping this episode (which is a Christmas episode) would have Channy........

I love this show. It may not be perfect, but it's quite entertaining.

After having been canceled, the soundtrack for Sonny With A Chance has been added back to Universal’s release schedule with a release date of October 5th. The artwork looks like it may be the one they originally planned to use back when it was first announced during Season 1.

I love the first single: Me, Myself and Time by Demi Lovato.
