I was considering buying both of these movies recently. Glad I didn't! I could kinda see these being released under the new "Walt Disney Family Classics" line that they just re-released the Witch Mountain movies on. They might just be releases (they probably will be), but I could see them being added to the line.
I hope they have commentary with Mickey Rooney (I think he's still with us?)
I have the GCC DVD that I got only two months ago and will likely double dip.
But then in 3 years there might be a Blu Ray.......

Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

He was at the Oscars the year and he still seemed healthy/spunky but he SOUNDS just like his old man voice though.... He was a part of the new Miser Brothers Christmas this past year and no longer needs to put on a ‘Santa’ voice. But yes he IS still with us and I wish he'd do a commentary though.jediliz wrote:I hope they have commentary with Mickey Rooney (I think he's still with us?)

Mostly like this edition will have music videos of current disney stars, such as
Hannah Montanta - Candle on the Water or Brazzle Dazzle Day, but i highly doubt she'd do Brazzle.
I hope they actually included features that are worth watching.
I'd really like to see a featurette on the lighthouse that was constructed for the film, and what happend to it afterwards.

NO, not other way around. He says he has the Blu-ray, so what I'm saying is that it comes with a DVD, and all the features on it. No need to buy the DVD again, unless it's for someone else.Flanger-Hanger wrote:Other way around.ajmrowland wrote:Isn't the Bolt DVD supposed to COME WITH the Blu-ray?
DVD of Bolt is just DVD.
Blu-ray of Bolt comes with DVD in package.

Sometimes I will get the same movie in both Blu-ray and Dvd. For one thing it's fun to compare them. With Bolt I thought about only getting the Blu-ray since it also have the Dvd in there. But I am so close to having all of the dvd editions of Disney's Animated Classics, that I made the choice to also get the 2 disc dvd version of Bolt also. Since I am so close I might as well go all the way and have the whole dvd collection of Disney's Animated Classics
