Will some Region 2 DVDs play on Region 1 DVD players!? :)

Only if they're played on multi-region DVD players, or if the DVD is both region 2 and 1 (which i think is unlikely.)

Region 0 can play on all dvd players, but make sure they're authentic region 0, and not ebay lingo for 'fake'.

Hope this helps :)

The simple answer is no, as Rach said it'd have to be a multi region player. :)

Also, a region free player may not be enough. For European imports, you'll have to make sure that you can play PAL discs. Unless your DVD-player can make the conversion, you'll need a PAL capable TV, or an external systems converter.

Japanese region 2 discs are NTSC, so they should play fine on any region free player in the US.
