House of Mouse in DVD??

Post by Aladdin from Agrabah »

I know there are many people who don't like that show, especially for that "restaurant-like" presentation and the modernized and "cheap-disney-toon-studios" animation. Well, I like that show, and I guess Disney should have launched it in dvd form. It's popular, and most of all it's full of new episodes with the classic characters we all know. And -at last- they give Daisy her own episodes and her own character-she's not only Donald's jealous and overreacting fiance any more. Does anybody know if that show is ever gonna come in dvd, or at least its cartoons(like we say ; "a Donald Goofy and Pluto" cartoon.)??

Probably never for DVD. Blu-ray maybe towards the end of that technology.

Hopefully if Duckales and Rescue Rangers sell well we will get it!! Don't forget Gummi Bears!

A DVD release is doubtful, it's not as requested as much as the older DA shows.

I like House of Mouse, but would probably not buy it. I loved the seeing all the Disney characters in one place, but I think they overdid the showing cartoons part.

But couldn't they make a collection of these cartoons just like they did with the old classics? Maybe someday they're gonna be thought as classics as well.I think they're adorable anyway...

House of Mouse is one of the few newer Disney shows that I approve of. However I doubt you will see this anytime soon on DVD. The Gummi Bears, Goof Troop, Aladdin, Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin, etc are all more deserving of getting a DVD release before The House of Mouse.

Definately want to see this one on DVD. As a minimum, would love to see the MouseWorks/House of Mouse shorts as a collection.

There have been two releases, I believe:

1. Mickey's House Of Villains
2. Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse (which I think is Out Of Print)

Paging deathie mouse, paging deathie mouse...

In its simplest terms, blu-ray is the new version of DVD supported by virtually everyone and it boasts sharper/clearer picture and a lot of other tech stuff, but perhaps the important thing for people to know is it holds a lot more than a DVD, I think it's 45GB?

As for me, I loved House of Mouse, and would love to see it on DVD, but like others said, there are earlier shows more "deserving" of a release before we get to HoM.

I love House of Mouse. Two years ago when I was a sophomore in high school it would be on when I got home... now it's not

It was the ONLY thing I watched on Disney Channel, except for the occasional time when they'd show a good movie.

I love the idea of all the Disney characters hanging out at a restaraunt/club interacting with each other. Although a lot of times I wish that they'd show more Disney character interaction than cartoons.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Recently I have gotten into the show a lot more and I would love to see it on DVD but I would be happy if they released best of sets.

I like seeing the animated shorts in this but I can see the classic ones other places and the new segments make me want to see more new animation with some Disney characters. I really would love to see a new show set in Duckberg or something like that with the classic gang and maybe some other characters.

(well here is a list of characters I would love to see return in another animated series)

Mickey Mouse
Donald Duck
Goofy
Minnie Mouse
Pluto
Daisy
Pete
Clarabelle
Chip n Dale
Huey, Dewey and Louie
Humphrey the Bear
Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore
Jose Carioca
Panchito
Scrooge McDuck
Ludwig Von Drake
Launchpad McQuack
The Beagle Boys
Darkwing Duck
Max

I think you get the point. :p Maybe it'll be better to make a couple of series but I really like all of those characters and I crave more. :p
