Re: Moana 2
In that temp image on YouTube, Moana looks so different ...
I get that they'd want to tweak her design, eight years after the first film, but I hope they did not overdo it, to the extent that she looks like a different character.

Re: List of abandoned projects
That's fascinating! Agreed that the animation looks highly accomplished for a 2006ish TV series. It looks too good, in fact. How was this possible?

Re: A Goofy Movie 20th Anniversary
I would be very interested in learning more about the animation production of the film, and which studios handled it.
I know the bulk was animated at Walt Disney Animation Paris, before that studio became an official satellite of WDAS, but not much else.

Re: Musker & Clements Left Disney
It was a well and understandable choice to put Pete Doctor in charge for Pixar, he was part of the Studio for a few decades and directed many great Pixar Films, he clearly knows how to navigate, but Jenifer Lee??? She seems nice but how on earth was she put on this Position out of nowhere? She codi...

Re: The Little Mermaid Discussion
I think audio commentaries are usually the best supplement when included on DVD and Blu-ray, but I almost never listen to them because they take as long as the movie itself!
Who has that time in this day and age?

Your SCRUMPTIOUS Music Listening Log
Just like the movie viewing log, but for music! I like to listen to full albums. For those of you who are deeply fascinated by what I listen to ( :mischief: ), I like to use the following format for my list. DD/MM/YY ARTIST | Album Title [YYYY (Album Year) Format | Record Label] Star Ratin...

Re: Your LOVELY Movie Viewing Log [Édition 2023]
Dear Sotiris , would be possible to remove the "[Édition 2023]" from the thread title, since it is no longer relevant? I recall that on the old forum software I could edit the thread title even years after it was created, but that no longer seems possible. Thank you! :) I haven't watched t...

Re: Musker & Clements Left Disney
Well said by John, but it will fall on deaf ears. The current creative leadership at the studio is just not talented enough to pull that off. I do hope the studio leadership is renewed in the coming years, because I simply do not see Jennifer Lee reading this article and thinking, "Hmm ... Int...

Re: High Resolution Textless Disney Posters
^^ I went back to look at the Sinbad poster after reading what you wrote and now I can't unsee those things, lol! What I don't understand is, how do professional artists hired by major studios make these mistakes? If I recall, that artwork was used for Sinbad's ORIGINAL theatrical poster! I realise ...

Re: Who Will Take Over for Lasseter at WDAS?
Ended up reading the entire "D-Files" series, Sotiris . I suppose the articles are indeed gossip, but I have a weird feeling in my stomach that they are true. Or maybe the story is exaggerated, but still based on fact. Who knows? All I know is that reading it made me want to vomit, so God ...

For the record, here is a print screen from my Macintosh computer, affected same as a Windows machine.
Note the ad at the bottom of the screen, as well as the ones flanking Khonnor's post.

UmbrellaFish, the ads on my phone look exactly the same as the one in your mobile screenshot! They seem to be Google ads.

Too Many Ads!
If these ads are a necessary evil for the survival of the website and forum, then I will have to tolerate them. However, in their current form they are making navigation of the forum extremely difficult. On a desktop computer, a horizontal ad pops up at the bottom of the screen every time you move f...

Wondy, some of your descriptions appear to have been deleted, or cut off in some way!
I'm dying to know what else you have to say about Saludos Amigos. (Mostly because I suspect I will agree. )
And please come back more often!

Re: Iwájú (Disney+ Series)
I like it! It looks highly original compared to the clichéd CG stuff we get most if the time. Animation looks pretty good for a streaming series, so hats off to Cinesite. The styling of the film just needed to be a bit more unique. The oddest thing about this production is that it finds itself on th...
