Yeah and their website is down too. Can't even contact customer service. Your replies make me feel better as it sounds like an error

Re: The Disney Movie Rewards Discussion & Info Thread Vol. 4

I just got an email from DMR telling me that I'm gonna loose all my points unless I act now. They're acting like my account is inactive. Thing is, I just entered my Inside Out code on November 5th, so it's far from inactive. Has anyone else received an email like this. I have close to 10,000 points ...

Re: The Sweatbox - Making of "Kingdom of the Sun"

I still have the video, I'm just not gonna risk my YouTube account getting shutdown over the head of this video. Doesn't matter that it's private (can't find it in a search or view it without permission), Disney will find a way and I'm not gonna risk it. Sorry to disappoint anyone.

Re: The Sweatbox - Making of "Kingdom of the Sun"

Alright, so Disney made an account on either Ultimate Disney or Blu-ray.com and PMed me like any other member wanting to view the video. Using this deception to gain access to the link, they have now blocked the video worldwide. Just letting everyone know that Disney plays childish games so be caref...

Re: Captain America 2: Winter Soldier

Yeah, I've been kinda iffy on most of these Marvel adaptions but this was actually pretty good. Probably the best since the original Iron Man in 2008. There is just something incredibly satisfying about seeing a volnerable Nick Fury. Excited to see Baron Von Strucker in the next movie, maybe even Ze...

Re: Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition Blu-ray - 2014

Better hold on to your Platinum Edition Blu-ray, it seems like this is literally just the first disc of that set repackaged. http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=13754 I feel like this was less about Blu-ray and more about getting in out for digital distribution. This is why recent releases have so littl...

Re: Frozen: Part V

Saw Frozen today, it was alright. The songs all kinda blended together, the cartoony characters like snowman and the trolls were pointless/annoying (they stood out in a bad way), and I got really tired of hearing the "true love will break the curse" crap repeated multiple times in the film...

It's a Small World: The Animated Series

Stop me if this has already been posted but it appears that Disney is making animated shorts for It's a Small World. They seem like the educational-type of programing you'd see sandwiched in-beween shows on Disney Jr. I like how it looks like Mary Blair's art. Here's the first one in the series: htt...

Re: Hand-Drawn Animation Dead at Disney?

I wish Disney had as much pride in what they do as Laika. Just look at the latest trailer for The Boxtrolls. If only Disney were to make a traditionally animated film and put out a trailer like that honoring the craft. At this point I'd settle for a DTV that's hand drawn, as even those are all CG now.

Re: Disney on Netflix

I didn’t think the Disney-Netflix deal started till 2016 but they’re already adding a ton of content. I’m not including the Disney Channel movies or TV shows (or the hundreds of Air Bud spinoffs), and this is by no means a complete list but just to give you an idea of how much there is. Shorts Micke...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I usually see the movie in 2D and then buy it in 3D if I like it. That way if I didn't like the movie, I didn't pay that extra fee (although I'm using the free movie ticket I got from buying The Little Mermaid Blu-ray, the same applies). No amount of 3D will make a bad movie good, it merely enhances...

Re: The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition - Fall 2013

Nice of them to correct the mistakes. Will give them a call tomorrow. Now if only they fixed The Lion King's missing clouds, which is more noticeable than any of the mistakes the 3D conversion caused on this release.

"Thank you for contacting Walt Disney Studios. In preparation for its Blu-ray release, THE LITTLE MERMAID went through an intensive re-mastering process. Unfortunately, a minor oversight led to a switch of two small cuts during the "Part of Your World" scene. There is no impact on th...

Re: The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition - Fall 2013

What a weird mistake. How does that even happen? Not that it makes all the difference in the world, but it IS a mistake. I don't get how stuff like this KEEPS happening. I get it if the directors or creative team decide to change a scene or color pallet. I get it if the restoration team wants to dr...

Damn this movie was boring. Not a single interesting/memorable/likable character in the bunch and holy shit was that romance forced out of nowhere. Most importantly, it's not fun.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ANNOUNCED AT E3 for PS4

I suggest you play the upcoming collections otherwise don't even bother playing KH3 at all. I may not then but it's not like I'm in any rush. I have years to think about it lol One thing Nomura mentioned about Kingdom Hearts III that I found interesting is the inclusion of co-op via cross-controlle...

Re: BREAKING NEWS: KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ANNOUNCED AT E3 for PS4

The people I talked to weren't very fond of the story in Dream Drop Distance. Said it kind of just repeated things that already happened, even invalidating certain events from previous games - pointless, in their words - and that they much prefer the story in Birth By Sleep. I wouldn't know, since I...

Are the clips posted on IMDB from the Diamond Edition or the old Platinum Edition? Sorry if this has been asked before but I haven't been around for awhile. Even at the low resolution, I think they look good.

I had a feeling the new style in Kingdom Hearts III was going to translate the Disney characters well: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/480101_10151447251500841_1846252223_n.jpg Honestly, I'm not sure how excited I am for this. Re: Disney on Netflix

Just watched Mulan, Hercules and The Hunchback of Notre Dame on Netflix in HD and they look absolutely stunning. Definitely taken from the new Blu-ray masters. Also watched The Prince and the Pauper and the Brave Little Tailor, which also looks fantastic in HD. Loving all the HD Disney content on Ne...
