Re: Ranking the Disney Princes

1. Aladdin - Ever since the film came out, I've loved Aladdin so much. I've always related to "One Jump Ahead (Reprise);" I've always felt so much emotion in that song...I just feel it tells so much about who Aladdin is. He's charming, but vulnerable. I think part of my love for Aladdin al...

Re: Disney Dolls

Such an impressive collection, Mooky- thank you for sharing!! Are most of those Jasmine dolls by Mattel? I've always loved that face sculpt that most have (I had one when I was a kid, purple dress and a matching Aladdin doll). That Tarzan doll made me crack up. Super neat idea of the diaramas! I hop...

A friend just told me about this and I wanted to make sure it was posted! "The Foods That Built America" is a great show, so of course this new series should be excellent! I asked my mom to set her DVR!!

Re: Disney Dolls

I agree that the Pottery Barn dolls are cute, but those pattern dolls are even cuter. I love that they have Giselle! I am the least crafty person ever so I have no idea how they're made but that would be super impressive if you made those!

Stephen Anderson (director of MtR + WtP) has a new book coming out ("Disney In-Between: The Lost Years 1966—1986"). Sounds like a limited run, though and right now it's just at the crowdfunding stage.

Re: Meet the Robinsons

#meettherobinsons was always going to be called ‘A Day with Wilbur Robinson,’ like the original book. However some execs felt that title was too soft and wanted to change it. Here are two of the rejected ones. https://twitter.com/stevehatguy/status/1769779341011870083 (Tomorrowland: A Day With Wilb...

I know that this what I'll call a rumor for right now is on a few websites and Tweets, but I won't believe it until the trades or animation sites report on it. And Coco was Pixar's first musical I thought...

I do like the Tron movies and I'm looking forward to the new one, but I love the Avatar films so I'll add Tron to the end of my previous ranking:

Elio, Zootopia 2, Avatar 3, Tron: Ares

I have mixed feelings on the second one because it's like a live action SW almost, like it's rotoscoped. But I love seeing these things, so thanks so much for sharing them, Vlad!

Cinderella's hair doesn't seem to be consistent in the photos on that Instagram. One pic had the modern redesign, and the last pic had more movie-accurate hair.

and if that were true, they would have replaced Adrian Molina with someone else, a la Brave and The Good Dinosaur. But they didn't. Maybe Pete Docter isn't as keen to replace directors like Lasseter was? I'm still really looking forward to this film. I trust Pixar so... hopefully it still comes out...

Re: Which Disney movies (or scenes) make you cry?

Most of Brother Bear . That movie just makes me bawl my eyes out. The loss of Sitka, the loss of Koda's mom, "No Way Out," Kenai deciding to stay a bear. Dumbo and The Fox and the Hound also get me bawling too. Ray's death in The Princess and the Frog . Penny in The Rescuers is so sweet an...

Re: Is the Disney Movie Club worth it?

Aww, I'm bummed. I've been a member since 2006 I think, except for a few months in 2014 when they kept sending me titles I declined and I cancelled. I'm very grateful for all of the savings and exclusives over the years. I don't have much disposable income now, so I can't go on one last spending spr...

Would they just make the Cruise Line show longer? I wonder how they'll change the new show. The Aladdin Broadway show added some deleted songs, while the Cruise Line/theme park show I think is shorter but added a song for Jasmine. The B&tB theme park show I've seen a bunch of times and it's defi...

I'm getting the large amount of ads as well on mobile, but I'm not bothered by them because if they're bringing revenue to the site, that's a good thing!
